Litany is built to be private by default. It collects no analytics, no third-party trackers, and no advertising identifiers. The app does not phone home.
Litany does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information. There are no accounts, no logins, and no profiles. Everything the app does happens on your device.
If you enable the daily reminder, notifications are scheduled locally on your device and contain only the saint or feast of the day. No notification content ever leaves your device.
Litany is a one-time paid app. Your purchase is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store; Litany never receives or stores your name, payment details, or Apple ID. Receipt verification, where used, is performed on-device against Apple’s signed records.
The only network request Litany may make is an optional content-update check against a public content delivery network (CDN). This transmits a single version number and no personal data. The app is fully usable offline.
Litany contains no advertising and no tracking of any kind, and your information is never sold or shared — because none is ever collected.
Litany is suitable for all ages and collects no data from anyone, including children.
If a future update changes how data is handled, this page and the App Store description will be updated to match. The principle is permanent: no ads, no tracking, no data sale, ever.
